Quote from the audience: “It was like watching a magic show.”

In this story, Spaghetti and Meatballs, the storyteller teaches the children that perseverance and belief in one’s self can lead to success in the things they want to achieve. Through the animated retelling of her actual experiences in the kitchen, Miss Green shows that sticking to their goals and learning from their mistakes can lead them to success. The children join the storyteller in the refrain “If I can believe it, I can achieve it,” reinforcing the “moral” of the story. Children learn that the first step to believing in themselves is being an optimist and thinking positively.
